A bit of background...
Staffordshire Patchworkers and Quilters was founded in 1982 by Barbara Chainey, after an advert in the Sentinel shook around 60 stitchers out from under their quilts, making us one of the oldest groups in the region. We have always had an active membership participating in excursions and organising our own informal exhibitions. Over the years a number of our members have been winners at some of the national quilt shows.
